V.     Zen Wellness: Ten tips for a Mindful Home

1. Wake up with the sun:

There is no purer light and moment than what we see when we open our eyes first thing in the morning. So make it a mindful habit to wake up early in the morning before sunrises.

2. Sit:

Mindfulness without meditation is merely just a word. To be mindful, you have to practice meditation while sitting still.

3. Make your bed every day:

The state of one’s bed often tells and describes the state of one’s head. So, make sure to enfold your day in dignity.

4. Empty the hampers:

Do your laundry without any resentment or negative commentary. Make sure to have an intimate encounter with the very fabric of life while being present and paying attain.

5. Wash your bowl:

Rinse away the self-importance and clean up your mess and negative thoughts. Because if you leave it undone, it will get messy and sticky in no time.

6. Set a timer:

If you’re distracted by the mistakes or weight of what’s left behind undone, set a timer and, then accordingly, like a monk in a monastery, devote yourself completely to the task at hand.

7. Rake the leaves:

Rake, sweep, or maybe weed. Do it, however, you’ll never finish for good, but you’ll always learn the point of mindlessness and pointlessness.

8. Eat only when hungry, not when you think you are hungry:

Adopt mindful eating habits, align your inexhaustible deep desires with the one true mindful appetite.

9. Let the darkness come:

Set a fixed curfew on the screen timing, internet, and TV and in return, discover the natural balance between daylight and darkness, work and proper rest.

10.   Sleep when exhausted or tired, don’t just watch TV:

There is nothing more special to it, just a peaceful and relaxing deep sleep.
